• Account Information: When you create an account, we securely store your email address, name, and authentication details via our auth provider (Supabase).
• Input Data: The resumes and job descriptions you upload or paste into our service to generate tailored content.
• Usage Data: Basic analytics regarding how you interact with our application to help us improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly to deliver and improve the FixMyResume service:

• To generate tailored resumes and cover letters using AI models.
• To manage your account and track your available generation credits.
• To communicate with you regarding your account, updates, or support requests.

3. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

We rely on trusted third-party infrastructure to operate our SaaS securely. We do not sell your data. We share data only with the following essential services:

• OpenAI / DeepSeek (AI Processing): The resume text and job descriptions you provide are sent to AI providers via secure APIs to generate your tailored documents. According to their enterprise API policies, your data is not used to train their underlying AI models.
• Stripe (Payments): When you purchase credits, your payment information is processed directly by Stripe. FixMyResume does not collect, process, or store your credit card information on our servers.
• Supabase (Database & Auth): Your account information and generated document history are securely stored in our Supabase-hosted database.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account information and generation history so you can access your past tailored resumes at any time. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you may contact us, and we will securely erase your information from our active databases within 30 days.

5. Cookies

We use standard session cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and to store your theme preferences. We do not use invasive tracking or third-party advertising cookies.
